Funding and collaborations

flag-fr

The nature of our funding is diversified: EU-H2020ANRCTPS-CasdarGNIS-FSOVINRA Metaprogrammes. Since 2011 our team was involved in more than 30 international and national funded projects, including 5 European ("Pure", "PlantFoodSec", "Whealbi", "Emphasis", "RustWatch") and 4 ANR ("BreedWheat", "Gester", "Gandalf", "Wheatamix") projects. Our participation in applied projects (8 CTPS-Casdar or GNIS-FSOV) is recurrent, illustrating the connection of our research activities with private companies (breeders, such as Florimond DesprezRAGT 2NLimagrainSyngentaLemaire-DeffontainesBASF) and technical institutes (ARVALIS-Institut du VégétalGEVES) of the cereal sector. Furthermore, our team was awarded funding from proposals launched by the INRA Metaprogrammes SMaCH and ACCAF.

We have historical, strong collaborations with several INRA research units: mainly EcoSys (Grignon) with several co-supervised PhD students, BiOSP (Avignon) and MaIAGE (Jouy), but also GDEC (Clermont-Ferrand), IaM (Nancy) and IGEPP (Rennes) on specific projects and networks. We also develop international collaborations, for instance with Aarhus University and INAT Tunis for the analysis of Puccinia striiformis populations, Wageningen University for analysis of quantitatively inherited and non-host resistance against rusts, ETH Zürich and Université de Neuchâtel for epidemiology and host-pathogen adaptation in Zymoseptoria tritici populations, Rothamsted Research for theoretical epidemiology, and Imperial College and Agroinnova-University of Torino for crop biosecurity and plant health risk analysis.
