Welcome to ECOSYS

UMR ECOSYS - Ecologie fonctionnelle et écotoxicologie des agroécosystèmes

Environmental chemistry pole

The creation of a unique technical group was suggested by the heads of each group and was approved by the managing team of ECOSYS

Its coordination will be done by Marjolaine Deschamps (Soil team) with the help of Nathalie Cheviron (Ecotox team) and Patricia Laville (Eco&Phy team). Having one technical group instead of three would provide a better overview of all the laboratory activities, since the three engineers belong to the three scientific teams. In the context of the relocation to Saclay in 2021 and the departure of technicians and engineers, the coordinators of the technical group will:

  • evaluate once a year the career progressions of technicians and engineers depending of their wishes and the needs in the laboratories; this will be done in cooperation with the heads of each scientific team,
  • help the heads of the scientific teams to prepare the recruitment plan for technicians and engineers,
  • update the list of the equipment renewal and help writing the funding applications;
  • and organise training.

The two platforms Biochem-Env and the “AgroSystèmes” Business Unit are linked to this pole, but keeping an autonomous functioning.
